Hi All,

It was such a perfect night, that it almost seems like a dream. It was great seeing all of you glamourously dressed up, with your friends and family, dancing happily all night long. You all created such a spectacular 'buzz' and atmosphere, that the memory of last night will be with me for a very long time.

I think it is safe to say , that the first ever Swing 'Snow Ball' in Greece, was an outstanding success! We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make this happen. May it be the first of many more to come!

And a special 'thank you' to all the performers...
I always believed from the very beginning, that the choreographies were _not_ easy, the selected music was quite fast, some of the moves were quite advanced, and there was not a lot of time to learn and practice everything. BUT YOU DID IT!!!!! You all worked really, really hard. Your dedication, enthusiasm , and commitment shone through last night, and you made us all incredibly proud.

Ben.

PS - and now for a very bad translation into Greek from Google :

Όλα Hi,

Hello everyone,

I didn't have the chance to say goodnight on Sunday because I had to hurry home (baby with fever) so I am writing to say a special thank you  for the wonderful Snow Ball night. It was one of the strongest moments I' ve ever experienced.

The lindy choreographies were amazing!!!  Great job J&B! Great job Lindy Hoppers!

As a flapper girl, I'd like to thank especially  Nefeli and Mariangela for being so supportive, patient and warm and for the amazing charleston choreography they made. I really hope you liked the result. In any case, we had fun and the Snow Ball was a big success!!!!

I hope you all have a merry christmas and that you have fun wherever you are, as long as you 'll be back soon for more...

I'm actually quite emotional right now....

The first 'Snow Ball' is now a fact and not a dream!

It was magical....so many people (=240!), so much fun!

Thanks to all of you that worked so hard - that supported a great dream!

You all looked amazing.

A big BRAVO to the flapper girls, you looked so authentic and pretty, and you've danced so well! Well done girls! You were great! Thanks to Nefeli and Ms Cherry Pie for writing such a fun routine!

A special thanks goes to the Lindy Hoppers (and of course to the 'SUPER MEOW'!).You've worked so unbelievably hard...and your choreographies were not easy at all. You were very cooperative and understanding! Thank you for the amazing result you presented on Sunday!

Finally, a big thans to the 'swing rat' for helping me with the ending of the choreography for 'Hit the Road' - without his advice I'd have you spinning for the last 6 bars!

Roll on to the next one!

i think i speak for everybody when i say, it's us who should be thanking you Cats for bringing this magical experience to Greece..

I had a wonderfully crazy time and enjoyed dancing the way i never had (probably because i rarely dance)..

Couldn't agree more. Well done to the Athens Swing Cats for getting this thing started - the show was great, the prizes were too. Thanks to all the gallant young swingers who asked me to dance (male and female)...

Merry Christmas to all of you and special thanks to Ben, Josephine, Nefeli and Mariangela for a splendid night!

I will be working on the video that I recorded and making it available soon. Also, there are other recordings made by other people, which I am waiting to receive (some people are away for the holidays). Anyway, once I have gathered and processed everything, I will post them online (assuming everybody is ok with that). I am also planning to make souvenir DVD's for the performers.

Anyway, if anyone has video or pics from Snowball, please send copies to me (my address is on the website), so that I can put them all together for the website, gallery, DVD etc...

Thanks,

Ben.

One thing at the time dear friend! The Snow Ball has taken all our energy and time!

We're STILL waiting to gather lots of pics from various events and people - once all this is finished then we 'll create the gallery. Not all of the pics would be used for the website obviously.

Thanks for uploading the pictures, I will download them later tonight when I get home (I am going out just now).

Yes, you are absolutely right. I will make time this week to get the gallery online.

If anyone else has pictures and/or videos to send me, it might be easier to upload them to a free file hosting site (as alejaaandro has done).  Here are a few that work well :

  http://rapidshare.com/
  http://www.megaupload.com/
  http://www.mediafire.com/

Thanks,

Ben.
