Hi Bettie Page,
That is a really good question, thanks for bringing it up.
I finally found the time to make changes to how this works. Previously , in order to stop being a 'Newbie' you had to make over 50 posts, this obviously has nothing to do with your dancing ability, because you would certainly
not be considered a 'swing dancing newbie'

Anyway, I changed the group names from 'Newbie' and 'Jr Member' etc.. to military ranks, 'private first class' , 'captain' etc.. I also made it easier to increase your rank, you only need to post 10 message to go up. The highest rank is 'General' and you need 90 posts to make it that far, so start typing!
Anyway, because of your previous posts here, this means that you are a 'Corporal' . I hope this sounds better than 'Newbie', if you have ideas for better names please let me know.
Ben.
PS - here are all the rank names, and how many posts you need to achive them :
Private First Class : 0 posts
Corporal : 10 posts
Sergeant : 20 posts
Master Sergeant : 30 posts
Second Lieutenant : 40 posts
First Lieutenant : 50 posts
Captain : 60 posts
Major : 70 posts
Colonel : 80 posts
General : 90 posts
...and as usual
couldn't keep my thoughts to myself:
how many topics do I have to right or comment until I stop being considered a "Newbie"

Or is it up to are dance qualities? cause in that case I'll stay a Newbie for ages!!!

( yes I know: I have to much time for myself...)
