Hello everyone, my name's Kostas. I've danced Lindy before and am delighted to have found out about Athens Swing Cats. I will be in class on Saturday, refreshing my rusty moves. I just wanted to point out the obvious, that there's a offputting spam problem in this forum. Is there someone responsible for moderating the forum? I think that the spam topics should be deleted quickly because they must definetly discourage people from joining the forum. I would volunteer to do it myself, but I'm such a newcomer that perhaps someone else would be more in line for the task.

I apologize to anyone who saw the spam messages, they were posted last night at about 2-3am, and this is the first time I have checked the forum today, but I deleted them as soon as I saw them. I will watch carefully for any more spam, and if the problem continues, I will tighten the security on the forum.

As it is said in Greek: mas epniasan ston upno!

They've sent the spam during very early morning hours (or late evening hours...depends on each individual's sleeping pattern!) and so we couldn't have known early enough.
