I have no words to describe how I feel!

Thank you all - thanks - thanks - thanks.

The last weekend has been absolutely amazing. When me and Ben first got the idea of a 'Swing Weekend' we didn't really know what to expect, how many of you would show interest etc.

Thank you for coming along to...everything: Saturday's classes, the Swing Riot party...and of course to 'Lee & Seema's Workshop' and our 1940s party on Sunday night! It was great to see so many of you on both dancefloors...we rocked the place  Grin

It has been a quite exhausting experience, but we all had so much fun. Lee & Seema are OVER THE MOON! You were so enthousiastic, passionate and supportive...you've learned a hell of a lot of material, and most important, for the very first time you saw what the whole Swing is about!

Lee & Seema are considered, indeed, two of the very finest Swing dancers in the world...and guess what...they are coming back to Athens in the next couple of months for more Collegiate Shag workshops!

More good news though: our first teacher (and Lee & Seema's first teacher as well!), the famous Swing Doctor, Jamie Davies, is coming over for a very special Lindy Hop and Balboa Workshop very-very-very soon.

Stay tuned!

And don't forget....we are now running a 1940s-themed Saturday night out...EVERY MONTH (soon twice a month!)

Thanks, and see you all soon  Kiss

We (me and Nasos) have a wonderful time.
The workshop was terrific.
Lee and Seema are great teachers and very very very good dancers.
The Sunday party was a great opportunity to know us better (remember the famous film-line?) and to watch L&S and Joss how they move on the dance floor improvising all the time.
Ben, we missed you.
So, we are waiting impatiently for the next classes.
The Shag moves were very funny also.
Keep up the good work Athens Swing Cats!

In order to have the opportunity to get lessons from dancers of such caliber, you need to participate in international workshops.
To have these classes right next to your door at a fraction of the cost, presents an excellent opportunity to learn.
My appreciation to the people who arrange these events.

What a great weekend!

Thanks to everyone who participated in Sunday's workshop, your enthusiasm and excitement was contagious.

Thanks to Lee and Seema for coming all the way over here, to share, teach, and inspire us all.

Thanks to Swing Riot for putting on a "kicking" party on Saturday.

Ben.

PS - photos coming soon.
