We created this board to foster a sense of community amongst people who are interested in Swing Dancing and Lindy Hop in Greece.

Hello Tom Cats 'n Swing Kitties,
and welcome to our brand NEW message board. It is the very first time that such a board exists in Greece, so I'm almost getting emotional!
You know me as Josephine (the 'Swing Cats' evil teacher!) but here you'll find me with my burlesque name, 'Kitty Von Paw'.
Please do introduce yourselves, by writing a couple of lines. Feel free to create new topics of discussion, reply to other people's posts, and ask questions.
Our dream comes true: the first Lindy Hop community in Athens is now real! Lets all make this forum a lively, informed, and active online community!

hi everyone,
i m alex, 22 y.o...
I accidentally got my hands on a Big bad voodoo daddy cd about a year ago and fell in love with swing... Started searching the whole thing and was amazed both with the music, the style (I ve always been a retro-fan) and the dancing (those youtube videos are insane!!)..
Anyway, I recently almost abandoned my guitar, got myself a trumpet and been struggling to get some sound out of it, and for the first time in my life i m keen on staring dance lessons (hopefully you ll be starting new lessons for beginners soon, huh?)
Might see some of you guys on Monday at half note, i had already plans to go there, and i will probably try to catch the party at the Barrio (that's open for anybody, right?)...
